Sue Johnson, 60, of Savannah, died Monday, June 22, at Park Rest Nursing Home, Savannah.
She was born in Barbourville, Ky., the daughter of the late James Floyd and Rosie Price Brown.
Ms. Johnson was a retired nurse’s aide for 25 years for St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia, Ill. She was a member of Pyburn Union Church .
Services were held on Thursday, June 25, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, with Harry Nolen officiating. Burial was in the Pyburn Cemetery at Hardin County.
She is survived by two sons, Timothy Lee Johnson of Savannah and Franklin James Johnson of Centralia, Ill.; three grandchildren; one sister, Mary Jane Smith of Savannah; and four brothers, Claude Brown of Corinth, Ky., Clyde Brown of De Mossville, Ky., Lee Brown of Butler, Ky. and James Floyd Brown Jr. of Falmouth, Ky.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Boehnke; and three brothers, Eugene, Chester and Kenneth Brown.
