Sandra Burns (4-21-09) services 4-23-09

Funeral Services were held for Sandra Kaye Burns, 49, Thursday, April 23, at 2 p.m., at Wheeler Grove Baptist with Rev. Kara Blackard and Rev. Ray Bennett officiating. Burial was at Wheeler Grove Cemetery. She left this life on April 21, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born Aug. 18, 1959, in Savannah. She worked retail having worked for Wal-Mart and Goody’s. Sandra was also a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. Sandra loved being a Nana, and loved her family dearly. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Roger Burns of Rienzi, Miss.; mother, Barbara Easley, father and step-mother Scottie and Joyce Easley, all of Savannah; son, Brad Burns (Faye) of Charlotte, N.C., son, James “Bubba” Garner (Meghann) of Booneville, Miss., son, Will Burns of Rienzi, Miss.; grandson, Randall Braiden Garner; brother, Sammy (Sissy) Easley of Savannah; sisters, Sheila (Butch) Cox of Savannah and Scottina Young of Adamsville; step-sisters, Kristi Russo of Norfolk, Va. and Kelli (Chris) Mealer of Cordova, Tenn.; and a host of loved nieces, nephews, family and friends. Pall bearers: Justin Little, Brandon Bobo, Doug Burns, Josh Richardson, Glenn Seabrooks, Blake Easley, Brett Dicus, Dustin Talley, David Carnell, Rodney Little.
