Samuel Shaw (7-19-09) services 7-22-09

Samuel Wright Shaw, of Savannah, was born in Savannah on Oct. 9, 1965, the son of Lillian Stover Shaw and the late David Paulk Shaw. Mr. Shaw was a parole officer with the State of Tennessee. He was a member of the fraternity house Acacia and attended First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Shaw departed this life on Sunday, July 19, at the age of 43 years, 9 months, 10 days. In addition to his mother, Mr. Shaw is survived by a sister, Libby Butler of Indianapolis, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Lisa Taylor of Savannah; a niece, Sara Shaw, and a nephew, David Shaw. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David Shaw Jr. and Bill Shaw. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 22, at 5:30 p.m., at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
