Ruby Massey (6-21-09) services 6-23-09

Ruby W. Massey, 94, of Counce, died Sunday, June 21. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Phillip Boson and Mary Olie Sharp Worley. She was united in marriage to Howard L. Massey, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Massey was a member of New Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Services were held on Tuesday, June 23, at New Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Counce, with Paul Childers officiating. Burial was in White Sulphur Cemetery. She is survived by a daughter, Jean Milender of Counce; two sons, Robert Massey of McDonough, Ga. and Jimmy Massey of Dutton, Ala.; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by seven brothers, three sisters, one grandson, two twin granddaughters.
