Robert Stensloff (7-28-09) services 8-1-09

Robert John Stensloff, 86, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, July 28. He was born in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late John and Helen Lixman Stensloff. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Allen, who preceded him in death. Mr. Stensloff served in the U.S. Navy as a naval aviator for more than 30 years before retiring. A graveside service was held on Saturday, Aug. 1, at the Liberty Cemetery in Jefferson County, Ala. He is survived by his son, Jon Floyd Stensloff of Savannah.
