Ressie Lee (9-26-09) services 9-29-09

Ressie Lee, 92, of Shiloh, died Saturday, Sept. 26. She was born in Crump, the daughter of the late Joe Cephus and Mamie Elizabeth Brown Phillips. Ms. Lee had worked for Brown Shoe Company for more than 20 years, before retiring. Services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Eric Jones officiating. Burial was in the Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery at Shiloh. Ms. Lee is survived by three daughters, Martha Lambert of Southside, Tenn., Barbara Shelley of Counce and Carol Sharp of Olive Branch, Miss.; a brother, Brown Phillips of Shiloh; a sister, Annie Bradford of Hollister, Calif.; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, J.C. Phillips Jr.; three sisters, Mary Faye Martin, Johnnie Phillips and Mildred Phillips.
