Pat Sweat (6-14-09) services 6-16-09

Pat Lee Sweat, 62, of Michie, died Sunday, June 14, at Michie. She was the daughter of Sarah Lewell Lee and the late Hayes P. Lee. She was united in marriage to Jerome "Bubbles" Sweat, who survives. Mrs. Sweat was a retired school teacher, employed 30 years at McNairy County Board of Education.  She also taught at the McNairy County Adult Education Center, ESOL, UTM Selmer and briefly for Union University. She was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church in Michie, where she was secretary. Services were held Tuesday, June 16, at Lebanon United Methodist Church, Michie, with John Holcomb officiating. Burial was in Pebble Hill Cemetery, Michie. Arrangements were by Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer. In addition to her husband, Jerome of Michie, she is survived by one daughter, Cristi Kimbley of Adamsville; one step-son, Jerry Sweat of Adamsville; one brother, Philip Lee of Michie; and three grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Brent Lee.
