Myrle Landreth (7-3-09) services 7-6-09

Myrle Droke Landreth, 77, of Adamsville, died Wednesday, July 3, in Selmer. She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Monroe McKinley and Mary Vadie English Droke. She was united in marriage to Herbert Duel Landreth, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Landreth was a bookkeeper for a car dealership. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Adamsville, and was a regular with the Senior Citizens. Services were held on Monday, July 6, at Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville with Elmer D. Seaton, Larry Browning officiating. Burial was in the Pine Hill Memorial Garden at Adamsville. She is survived by a son, Wyatt E. Landreth of Adamsville; a sister, Marie Robertson of Morris Chapel; a grandchild, two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jobana Landreth; a son, Douglas Landreth; four brothers, Ray, Raymond, Dee and Billy Droke; a sister, Ruth Droke; a grandchild.
