Mike Jones (7-3-09) services 7-5-09

Mike Jones, 59, of Adamsville, died Friday, July 3, at his residence. He was the son of the late Zeilford and Artie Jones. He was united in marriage to Sandra Kaye Nutt Jones, who survives. Mr. Jones was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for Shaw Trucking Company. Services were held Sunday, July 5, at Shackelford Funeral Directors with Randy Ward officiating. Burial was in Mt. Vinson Cemetery, Stantonville. Arrangements by Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer. In addition to his wife, Sandra of Adamsville, he is survived by two daughters, Georgana Jones of Savannah and Sherri Cavaletti of St. Louis, Mo.; two sons, Shannon Graham of Adamsville and Stephen Graham of Virginia Beach, Va.; four sisters, Lavon Sullivan of Selmer, Nita Garrison and Dorothy Pettigrew, both of Adamsville, and Betty Stocks of Stantonville; two brothers, Jimmy of Savannah and Sammy Jones of Shiloh; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Nell Chambers; and a brother, Garland Jones.
