Max Lee Harwell (8-4-09) services 8-7-09

Max Lee Harwell, 77, of Lexington, Tenn., died Tuesday, Aug. 4, in Little Rock, Ark. He was born in Chester County, son of the late Arlie Lee and Vora Bridges Harwell. Mr. Harwell was a retired patent agent with the U.S. Government, a member of First United Methodist Church in Lexington, and a private airplane pilot. Services were held Friday, Aug. 7, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Rev. Stan McDaniel officiating. Burial was in Milledgeville Cemetery. In addition to his wife, Dorothy Harwell of Lexington, he is survived by a step-son, David Adams of Raceland, La.; a step-daughter, Paula Adams of Houma, La.; two sisters, Kathryn H. Phillips of Reagan and Geneva Maness of Milledgeville; and several nieces and nephews.
