Marie Rapp (5-16-09) services 5-28-09

Marie R. Rapp, of Hardin County, died on Friday, May 15. She was born in Haverhill, Mass., the daughter of the late Richard and Rose Jauques Danialian. She was united in marriage to Charles R. Rapp, who preceded her in death. Ms. Rapp worked as a waitress at the Willow Road Inn and volunteered at the Wells Station School in Memphis. In addition to Haverhill, she had also lived in Greenville, Miss., Memphis, Munford, and Savannah. She was a member of the Simmonton Assembly Church of God and Church on the Rock. Services will be held today, Thursday, May 28, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Larry Rich officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Hill Gardens at Bartlett, Tenn. She is survived by a son, Bill Doyle of New Mexico; three daughters, Sylvia Doyle of Utah, Kathy Shaw of Adamsville and Gail Luke of Pennsylvania; a brother, Charlie Danialian of New Hampshire; 20 plus grandchildren and 30 plus great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Paul Wesley Doyle; five brothers, Sonny, Jimmy, Joe, Harry and Danny Danialian; a sister, Betty Smith.
