Marie Mills (7-17-09) services 7-18-09

Marie Harris Mills, of Adamsville, was born in Hardin County on March 4, 1916, the daughter of the late J. W. and Alafaire Durbin Harris. On Aug. 13, 1932, she was united in marriage to Glenn Andrew Mills, who preceded his wife in death on Feb. 25, 1992. Mrs. Mills was a nurse. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Mills departed this life on Friday, July 17, at the Tri-County Convalescent Home in Adamsville, at the age of 93 years, 4 months and 13 days. She is survived by two daughters, Glynda Jane Mills and Julia Marie Mills, both of Memphis; one grandson, Joel A. Frey and his wife Deborah; two great-grandchildren, Rebecca Lane and Christina Marie Frey. A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 18, at the Crump Cemetery in Crump, with Phillip Kemp officiating.
