Mackie Nell Linam (6-8-09) services 6-10-09

Mackie Nell Linam was born in Hardin County, on Oct. 18, 1932, the daughter of the late Hubert Alvin and Allie Barnhill Willoughby. On April 26, 1952, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Linam, who survives. Mrs. Linam was a homemaker. She was a member of Barnhill United Methodist Church. Mrs. Linam departed this life on June 8, at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, at the age of 76 years, 7 months and 21 days. Other than her husband, Lloyd of Savannah, she is survived by one daughter, Kathy Crow and her husband Steve of Jackson, Tenn.; and one son, Mike Linam and his wife Vanessa of Savannah; one grandson, Jonathan Linam; one sister, Barbara Baker of Savannah; and a special friend, Mary Lambert of Savannah. Mrs. Linam was also preceded in death by one brother, Gene Willoughby. Services were held on Wednesday, June 10, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, with Becky Wilkes officiating. Burial was in the Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
