Lola Young (9-28-09) services 10-1-09

Lola T. Young, 98, of Savannah, died Monday, Sept. 28. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late William and Lou Morris Tanner. She was united in marriage to R.D. Young, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Young was a homemaker and a member of the Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Services were held on Thursday, Oct. 1, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with James Wade Jr. officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah. She is survived by a son Ray Young of Lakeland, Tenn; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister Elsie Cook; and a brother Jim Tanner.
