Lois Rhea (4-20-09) services 4-22-09

Lois Rhea, 88, of Hardin County, died Monday, April 20. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Wes and Alma Shutt. Ms. Rhea was a homemaker and a member of the Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Services were held on Wednesday, April 22, at Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah with Duwayne Pounds officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah. She is survived by four daughters, Norlenia Austin of Lexington, Miss., Janice Ross of Adamsville, Linda Boyd of Holtville, Ala., and Judy Durham of Savannah; a son Wayne Rhea of Lexington, Miss.; four sisters, Lessie Whitlow and Mary Neill, both of Savannah, Nell Neill of Somerville, Tenn., and Winnie Calloway of Germantown, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur R. Rhea; a brother, Malone Shutt; and a granddaughter.
