Lawrence Bushong (7-14-09)

Lawrence L. Bushong, 65, of Savannah, died Tuesday, July 14, in Savannah. He was born in Oquawka, Ill., the son of the late Julius Alonso and Bessie Willits Bushong. He was united in marriage to Harriett Cox, who survives. Mr. Bushong was a retired deputy in law enforcement. He was a United States Army Veteran. In addition to his wife Harriett of Savannah, he is survived by one daughter, Lori Digman of Vinton, Iowa; two sons, Kevin and Brent Haines, both of Naples, Fla.; eight grandchildren; one brother, Ron Boughton of Adamsville. No services were held.
