Ken Smith (9-10-09)

Ken Smith, of Hardin County, was born in Newark, Ohio on June 9, 1937, the son of the late Edward S. and Lucille R. Smith. On June 21, 1956, he was united in marriage to Patricia Fuller, who survives. Mr. Smith retired from TruForm, where he was the owner/executive. He had previously lived in Utica, Ohio and had worked for Miller Company. Mr. Smith departed this life on Thursday, Sept. 10, at the age of 72 years, 3 months, 1 day. In addition to his wife, Mr. Smith is survived by two sons, Jerry Smith of Paris, Tenn. and Randy Smith of Corbin, Ky.; a daughter, Debbie Barker of Portland, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Alissa McGinley, Nick Smith, Sam Smith, Taylor Rae Parrish, and Seth Barker; a great-grandson, Sam McGinley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Smith. No services will be held at this time.
