Johnny Ruth Mangum (9-15-09)

Johnny Ruth Mangum, 78, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah. She was born in Iron City, Tenn., the daughter of the late John F. and Molly Carter Lewis. She was united in marriage to Aubrey C Mangum, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Mangum retired from Brown Shoe Company after 45 years. She was a member of East End Methodist Church. No services were held. She is survived by one son, Mike Mangum of Savannah; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one great-grandchild; two sisters, Lillian Lewis and Mary Jan Selby; and one son, James Allen Lewis.
