Johnnie Gray (7-14-09) services 7-17-09

Johnnie Gray, 66, of Savannah, died Tuesday, July 14, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tenn. He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Johnny Carroll and Rheba Lavern Hosea Gray. Mr. Gray retired after 23 years from the United States Navy. He was also a commercial fisherman and raised cattle at one time. Services were held on Friday, July 17, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Ronnie Sanders, Dennis McGarrity officiating. Burial was in the Neill Cemetery at Savannah. Mr. Gray is survived by one brother, Tony Gray of Savannah; and one sister, Brenda Joyce Rhodes of Bowling Green, Ky.
