John Franks (11-8-08) services 6-27-09

John R. Franks, 79, of Thermopolis, Wyo., formerly of Savannah, died on Nov. 8. He was the son of the late Carl Wayne and Maude Tucker Franks. He was united in marriage to Janice Barry, who survives. He is survived locally by his sister, Ruth Fisher of Savannah. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, at 11 a.m., at Wesley's Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. Kenton Van officiating. The Franks family reunion will be held June 26-28, at Pickwick Landing State Park Inn, allowing out-of-town relatives opportunity to attend.
