Janice Harbin (4-11-09) services 4-16-09

Janice Harbin, 54, of Hardin County, died Saturday, April 11. She was born in West Virginia, the daughter of the late Charles Wilson and Mabel Mae Johnson Wallace. She was united in marriage to Benny M. Harbin Sr., who survives. Mrs. Harbin had worked for Genesco in Smithville, Tenn., for about 30 years, and for New Generation in McKenzie, Tenn., for 10 years. Services were held on Thursday, April 16, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Tim Ray officiating. In addition to her husband, Benny, she is survived by two sons, Benny M. Harbin II of Savannah and Bobby Joe Harbin of Huntington, Tenn.; three brothers, Randy Wallace of Smithville, Tenn., Richard and Micheal Wallace both of West Virginia; three sisters, Karen Bollen of West Virginia, Jennifer Finley of North Carolina, and Kathy Hicks of Rock Island, Tenn.;three grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Anthony Harbin; a brother, Robert "Bobby" Elwood Wallace; a granddaughter.
