Janet Jones (9-4-09) services 9-7-09

Janet D. Jones, 63, of Savannah, died Friday, Sept. 4, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Memphis. She was born in Jacksonville, Fla., the daughter of the late Robert Lee Goings Sr. and Ethel Isabel Smith Goings. She was united in marriage to Robert W. Jones, who survives. Mrs. Jones was a domestic engineer. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Services were held on Monday, Sept. 7, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Glen Miller officiating. Burial was in the Hollands Creek Cemetery at Hardin County. In addition to her husband Bob of Savannah, she is survived by one daughter, Brandie Regina Jones of Savannah; two sons, Brian Lee Mack and his wife Angelia of Orlando, Fla. and Ronnie Lynwood Mack of Osteen, Fla.; one grandchild; one brother, Robert Lee Goings Jr. of Crawfordsville, Fla.
