Imogene Thacker (5-21-09) services 5-23-09

Imogene Kelley Thacker, 67, of Spring Hill, Tenn., died Thursday, May 21, at her home in Spring Hill. She was born in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Burbin C. and Viola Ray Kelley. She was united in marriage to Ernest Thacker Jr., who survives. Mrs. Thacker was a service representative with the Social Security Administration. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clifton and a member of the Eastern Star. Services were held on Saturday, May 23, at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Collinwood, with Randall Runions officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Gardens in Collinwood with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing.  In addition to her husband, Ernest Thacker Jr. of Spring Hill, Tenn., she is survived by a daughter, Karissa Thacker of New York; three sisters, Nancy Morehead of Chapel Hill, Tenn., Shirley Kelley of Waynesboro, Margaret Horn of McMinnville, Tenn.; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ann Lay.
