Hilton Chase (8-13-09) services 8-15-09

Hilton Ray Chase, 70, of Clifton, died Thursday, Aug. 13, at his residence. He was born in Booneville, Miss., the son of the late Columbus Paul and Ruby Richardson Chase. He was united in marriage to Robbie Russell, who survives. Mr. Chase was a former inspector at Dana Corporation. He was a member of the Church of Christ and served in the United States Army. Services were held on Saturday, Aug. 15, at Clifton Church of Christ, Clifton, with Tracy Love officiating. Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton. Arrangements by Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County. In addition to his wife, Robbie Chase of Clifton, he is survived by two sons, Hilton Ray Chase Jr. and Jeremy Chase, both of Savannah; a daughter, Emily Bowling of Waynesboro; six grandchildren; a brother, Paul Dillard Chase of Florence, Ala.; a sister, Juanita Hill of Clifton.
