Henry Webb (5-28-09) services 5-30-09

Henry Webb, 84, of Hardin County, died Thursday, May 28, in Savannah. He was born in Hardin County, son of the late Everett and Daisy Mae Counce Webb. He was united in marriage to the former Gladys Meeks, who survives. Mr. Webb was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. He was retired from the State Forrestry Service. He was a farmer and fisherman. Services were held on Saturday, May 30, at Pisgah United Methodist Church in Shiloh with Keith Driskell officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery at Shiloh. In addition to his wife Gladys Webb of Counce, he is survived by a daughter, Lora McLain of Counce; two sons - Willard Webb and James Larry Webb both of Counce; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren; four sisters, Louise Milender of Savannah, Daisy Maureen Vanderford of Counce, Nancy Spencer of Adamsville and June Hunter of Columbus, Miss.; one brother, Charles Everett Webb of Morris Chapel. He was also preceded in death by a son, Vernon Webb, three grandchildren; and two brothers, Fred and Bobby Webb.
