Helen Pennington, 75, of Florence, Ala., died Wednesday, July 15, in Florence, Ala. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Clarence and May Bell McDaniels Brannon. She was united in marriage to Charles Pennington, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Pennington was an inspector for Tee Jays for 15 years. Services were held on Saturday, July 18, at Old Macedonia Church of Christ in Lauderdale County, Ala., with Donnie Allen officiating. Burial was in the Old Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery at Lauderdale County, Ala. She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Tomlin of Florence, Ala.; three sons, Richard of Waterloo, Ala., David and Donald Pennington, both of Florence, Ala.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lois Sweeney and Winnie Cummings, both of Florence, Ala., Hazel Lambert of Savannah and Kathy Hollis of St. Joseph, Tenn. Mrs. Pennington was also preceded in death by one grandchild; four brothers, James, Larry, Wilbur Lee and R. C. Brannon; and one sister, Gladys Brannon.
