Faye Stanley (4-20-09) services 4-22-09

Faye M. Stanley, 83, of Adamsville, died Monday, April 20, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Arbie Meek. She was united in marriage to Jim Frank Stanley, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Stanley was retired from Brown Shoe Company after 33 years. She was a member of the Adamsville First United Methodist Church in Adamsville; a member of the Coleman Smith Sunday school class. Services were held Wednesday, April 22, at Adamsville First United Methodist Church with Deborah Webb, George Reed and Steven Callicoatt officiating. Burial was in Adamsville Cemetery. Arrangements by Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer. She is survived by three daughters, Jackie Hutton of Adamsville, Frankie Hill of Selmer and Kimberly Garza of Savannah; a half-brother, Chuck Meek of Milledgeville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Willa Meek. Memorials may be made to Adamsville First United Methodist Church.
