Elverette Lee Hamm, 67, of Hardin County, died Saturday, May 30.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Shermon M. and Agness Ruth Kiddy Hamm. He was united in marriage to Mary Diann Peters, who survives.
Mr. Hamm had worked for Garan Inc., USA Classic, and the City of Crump. He was a former baseball coach. He lived in the New Hope community and was a member of the New Hope Fellowship Church.
Services were held on Tuesday, June 2, at New Hope Fellowship Church in Hardin County, with Bill McCall officiating. Burial was in the Ledbetter Cemetery at Hardin County.
In addition to his wife, Mary Hamm, he is survived by a daughter, Janie Stutts of Adamsville; a son, Tommy Hamm of Adamsville; two sisters, Annie Mae Carson of Stantonville, Tenn. and Barbara Parrott of Adamsville; a brother, Larry Jr. Hamm of Adamsville; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, Caraline Stutts and Haylee Stutts.
He was also preceded in death by a grandchild.
