Ella May Pauley (6-30-09) services 7-6-09

Ella May Pauley, 89, of Charleston, W.Va., passed away on June 30. She was born Aug. 2, 1919, to the late Cameron Louis Wehrle and Vivian Fierbaugh Wehrle. Her husband, John Lawrence Pauley II; daughter, Stacie Paradise Edman; and brother, George Wehrle, also preceded her in death. Ella May was a member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. She also attended the Nitro Moose, ABWA and Eastern Star. She loved dancing, bigband music and her grandchildren. Ella May is survived by son, John Lawrence Pauley III; daughters, Jeanne Hewett Skipper and Johnnee Dee Aleksick; brother, Stacey Wehrle; and sister, Rosemary Monroe. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held Monday, July 6, with the Rev. Doug Minnerly and Chaplain Pete Thomson officiating at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home. Burial service was at Elk Hills Memorial Park.
