Earl Burris (5-17-09)

Earl Burris, 81, of Savannah, died Sunday, May 17, at the Hardin Medical Center. He was born in Georgia, the son of the late James Henry and Ilef Washington Cain Burris. He was united in marriage to Brenda Lewis, who preceded hm in death. Mr. Burris was self-employed, working with boat interiors. He was a United States Army Veteran. No services were held. He is survived by two daughters, Sonya Mon of Miami, Fla. and Dana Counihan of Jackson, Tenn.; six grandchildren; one sister, Jeannie Sailors of Scottsdale, Ariz.
