Dela Sue Black, 83, of Saltillo, died Sunday, Oct. 11, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, Jackson, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late John and Bessie Smith Watkins. She was united in marriage to Willard Hardin Black, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Black was a member of The Sanctuary of MPC. Services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at The Sanctuary of MPC, Milledgeville, with David Weatherford and Jimmy Kelley officiating. Burial was in Mars Hill Cemetery, Adamsville. She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Sue Singleton of Saltillo; a son William David Black of Ajo, Ariz.; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter; a brother, Leonard Watkins; and two sisters, Lura Hampton and Luna Mae Moore.
