Danny Casteel (4-12-09) services 4-15-09

Danny Casteel, 53, of Hardin County, died Sunday, April 12. He was born in Hardin County, the son of James Earl and Virginia Hazel Tilly Casteel. Mr. Casteel was self employed as a plumber and carpenter, after he had retired as an oil rig worker. He was a member of the Pyburn Union Church. Services were held on Wednesday, April 15, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah in Savannah, with Harry Nolen officiating. Burial was in the Campground Cemetery at Hardin County. He is survived by a daughter, Amy Smith of Savannah; two stepsons, Tim and Zachary Keirns, both of Savannah; a brother, Travis Casteel of Savannah; and two grandchildren.
