Cloedith Rainwater (8-17-09) services 8-19-09

Cloedith Rainwater, 80, of Hardin County, died Monday, Aug. 17, at the Hardin Medical Center Health and Rehabilitation Center in Savannah. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Clate and Nellie Lee White Mangum. She was united in marriage to J. P. (Pete) Rainwater, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Rainwater was a loan clerk for Hardin County Bank. She also had worked for Brown Shoe Company for 27 years. She was a member of East End United Methodist Church where she was a choir member. Services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at East End United Methodist Church in Savannah, with Jack Barker, Mary Foote officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah. She is survived by two sons, Kerry Rainwater of Savannah and David Rainwater of Adamsville; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Thomas of Savannah. She was also preceded in death by one son, Mike Rainwater; and two grandchildren.
