Charles Malone (10-1-09) services 10-4-09

Charles William Malone, 44, of Savannah, died Thursday, Oct. 1. He was born in Detroit, Mich., the son of Hazel Dean Stults and the late William Lawrence Malone. He was united in marriage to Sherry Hendrix, who survives. Mr. Malone worked for ISI Insulation System. He had also worked for American Food Service and Williams Cabinet Shop. He was a member of Campground United Methodist Church. Services were held on Sunday, Oct. 4, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Don Lee, Greg Eaton officiating. Burial was in the Campground Cemetery at Hardin County. In addition to his wife Sherry, he is survived by his mother, Hazel Stults; three sons, Luke William, Samuel J. and Jacob A. Malone, all of Savannah; a brother, Johnny Malone of Savannah; two sisters, Theresa Brock of Cumberland City, Tenn., Jeannie Durbin of Olive Hill. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Malone.
