Carson Davis (4-6-09) services 4-9-09

Carson Lee Davis, infant, was born in McNairy County, on April 6, the son of Lloyd Eugene Davis III and Melinda Jean Ellis. Carson departed this life on Monday, April 6. Services were held on Thursday, April 9, at 3:00 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Larry Vandiver officiating. Burial was in the Walnut Grove Cemetery at Hardin County. In addition to his parents, Carson is survived by his grandparents, Lloyd Jr. and Julia Christine Davis of Savannah, Douglas and Wilma Lee Newcomb of Counce; great-grandparents, Lloyd E. and Lela Pearl Davis, and Doris Irene Kellen. Carson was preceded in death by grandparents, Naomi Jean Ellis and Charlie Oliver Ellis; a great-grandfather, Lewis James Lovell.
