Bobbie Stephens (9-29) services 10-3-09

Althea "Bobbie" McCrory Stephens, 96, of Savannah, died Tuesday Sept. 29. She was born in Summertown, Tenn., the daughter of the late Robert and India Mae Craig McCrory. She was united in marriage to George Thomas "Skeeter" Stephens Jr., who survives. Mrs. Stephens was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Savannah. Services were held on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Dr. David Miller, Dr. Ed Britt officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah. In addition to her husband, Skeeter, she is survived by two grandchildren, three great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, George Thomas "Sonny" Stephens III; a daughter, Patricia Carol Stephens; a sister, Mary McCrory; and a brother, Frank McCrory.
