Bobbie Helms (9-26-09) services 9-28-09

Bobbie Helms, 70, of Adamsville, died Saturday, Sept. 26. She was born in Chester County, Tenn., the daughter of the late Ivy Granderson and Pearlie Mae Essary Smith. She was united in marriage to Hebert Odell Helms of Adamsville, who survives. Mrs. Helms pressed shirts for Garan Manufacturing before she retired. She attended church at The Sanctuary of Milledgeville Pentecostal Church. Services were held on Monday, Sept. 28, at The Sanctuary Pentecostal Church in Milledgeville with Jimmy Kelly officiating. Burial was in the Milledgeville Cemetery. In addition to her husband, Hebert, she is survived by three brothers, Dennis Smith of Tullahaoma, Tenn., Glen Smith of Memphis and Sam Smith of Adamsville; four sisters, Dortha McBroom and Betty McClellan, both of Lenoir City, Tenn., Wanda Johnson of Parsons, Tenn., Brenda Bushnell of Reagan, Tenn. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Smith; three sisters, Maxine Organ, Ruby Crowell and Jimmie Sue Carnes.
