Billy Robinson (10-3-09) services 10-6-09

Billy Robinson, 70, of Savannah, died Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth, Miss. He was born in Duncan County, Mo., the son of Burnis (Buck) Robinson and the late Betty Christine Vaughn Robinson. Mr. Robinson was a truck driver for Covenant Trucking Company. He was a 20 year United States Air Force Veteran. Services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Larry Rich officiating. Burial was in the Corinth National Cemetery at Corinth, Miss. He is survived by one daughter, Victoria Christine Weeks of Savannah; one son, John William Robinson of Tupelo, Miss.; three grandchildren; his father, Buck Robinson of Savannah; one sister, Nancy Bright of Savannah; one brother, Jerry (Butch) Robinson of Savannah. He was also preceded in death by one son, Christopher Robinson; and one sister, Peggy Taylor.
