Bill Snider (7-1-09)

Bill "Waysack" Snider, 72, of Counce, died Wednesday, July 1, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Miss. He was born in St. Louis, Mo., the son of the late Vernon Snider and Dorothy Biggs Snider. He was united in marriage to Judy V. Wamble, who survives. Mr. Snider retired after 32 years with Delta Airlines in Memphis, as senior customer service agent. He was a Shriner with Al-Chymia in Memphis. He was a leader for Boy Scouts of America for five years in Memphis. In addition to his wife, Judy of Counce, he is survived by two daughters, Janice and Jean; and one son, Mark; three step-children, Molly Beard and Taylor Ebbitt, both of Collierville, Tenn. and Jimmy Rixie of Olive Branch, Miss., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Vern Snider. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
