Bill Roberts, 61, of Savannah, died Saturday, Sept. 12. He was born in Hohenwald, Tenn., the son of the late Jim and Grace Turnbow Roberts. He was united in marriage to Jeana Gallahair, who survives. Mr. Roberts was self-employed as a transmission repairman. Services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Steven Childers officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Hardin County. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Chris Roberts, of Southhaven, Miss.; a daughter, Annette Roberts of Southhaven, Miss.; a brother, Jimmy Roberts of Memphis; a sister, Barbara Roberts of Oakland, Tenn.; a grandson. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Robbie Stanfield.
