Tommy Brewer

Tommy Richard Brewer, age 66, of Adamsville died Tuesday, Feb. 24 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis. He was the son of the late William Charles Brewer, and Mattie Ruth Brewer of Adamsville who survives. He was united in marriage to Maria Gonzales Brewer who also survives. Mr. Brewer was retired from Packaging Corporation of America in Counce, was a member of the Adamsville First United Methodist Church and had served in the U.S. Air Force. Services were held on Friday, Feb. 27, at the Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville with Phil Mitchell officiating. Burial was in Mt. Vinson Cemetery in Stantonville. In addition to his wife Maria and mother Mattie Ruth both of Adamsville, he is survived by one sister, Jeanne Brewer Carnes of Lakeland, Tenn.; and one brother, Paul Randall Brewer of Adamsville.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Charles Brewer.
