Timothy Moffett (3-21-09) services 3-26-09

Timothy Eugene Moffett, 47, of Selmer, formerly of Savannah, died March 21, in Savannah. He was born in Savannah. He was united in marriage to Margie Kaye Thompson, who survives. Mr. Moffett worked for Berry Plastics in Jackson, Tenn. He was a member of Landmark United Pentecostal Church in Stantonville, Tenn. Services will be held today, March 26, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville, with Darrell Moffett and Chad Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in the Falcon Cemetery at Selmer. In addition to his wife, Margie of Selmer, he is survived by two daughters, Leonda Moffett of Selmer and Dawn Pennington of Selmer; one son, James Moffett of Selmer; one grandchild; his grandmother, Alta Bryson of Savannah; five sisters, Kim Manns of McKenzie, Tenn., Patsy Blevins, Debbie Moffett and Dorothy Sherron, all of Adamsville, and Pam Chambers of Stantonville, Tenn.; two brothers, O’Neal Moffett of Selmer, Randy Moffett of Adamsville and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Moffett was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Juanita Moffett and Leonda Rose Moffett (mother of Kim and Timothy); one son, Timothy Dexter Moffett and his grandmother, Durell Moffett.
