Thomas Moss

Thomas E. Moss, 86, of Hardin County, also of Michigan City, Ind., passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, in his home. He was born in Miami County, Ind., to the late James F. and Mary A. Miller Moss. He was united in marriage to Lillian L. Wiencek, who preceded him in death. Mr. Moss formerly worked at Weil-McLain. Funeral  services were held Thursday, Feb. 12,  at  Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel  with Randy Cook officiating.  Burial was in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. He is survived by eight children, Louise Matthews Sr. of Bradford, Ark., Linda Rapier of Colorado, Sue Bonee of Adamsville and Mary Ann Anderson, Rosie Farrow, Julie Eddrington, David Moss and Anne Anderson, all of Michigan City; 27 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two brothers, Dave Moss of La Porte, Ind. and Art Moss of Michigan City, Ind. He was preceded in death by two grandsons; one great-grandson; five sisters, Esther, Iverena, Flossie, Bernice and Alice; and four brothers, Robert, Donald, Elmer and Floyd.
