Ricky Surgener

Richard "Ricky" Surgener, 28, of Savannah, died Sunday, Jan. 11, in Jackson, Tenn. He was born in Covington, Ky., the son of Richard Neal Tipton and Lola Mae Surgener. He was a former employee of B&B Riverboat as a lead man. Services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, with Tommy Cook officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery at Wayne County. He is survived by one daughter, Autumn Jade Surgener of Savannah; his mother, Lola Mae Surgener of Savannah; his father, Richard Neal Tipton of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, Jeremy Scott Surgener of Savannah. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Freda Mae Young, Robert Frank Surgener and Mr. and Mrs. William Tipton.
