Peggy Turnbow

Peggy Sue Turnbow, 66, of Selmer, died Monday, Feb. 2, at McNairy County Health Care Center, Selmer. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Annie Mae Dennis Bowen. She was united in marriage to Richard Turnbow, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Turnbow was retired after 15 years as a daycare operator. She did day care work in the Hinkle community near Sardis. She was a member of the Henderson Church of Christ and formerly attended the Saltillo Church of Christ. Services were held Thursday, Feb. 5, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer with Jeremy Weekley officiating. Arrangements by Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Hughes of Selmer; her son, Danny Turnbow of Cullman, Ala.; three sisters, Barbara Hubbard of Morris Chapel, Dorothy Campbell of Savannah and Louise Galle of Marissa, Ill.; a brother, Freddie Bowen of Savannah.
