Peggy Barlow

Peggy Kinsey Barlow, 74, of Hardin County, died Sunday, Jan. 4. She was born in Rossville, Ga., the daughter of William Claude and Geneva Estella Skinner Kinsey. She was united in marriage to George Robert Barlow, who survives. Mrs. Barlow was a property manager assistant for Central Woodwork before retiring. She was also co-manager of the Redwood Hut in Counce. She was a member of the Pickwick United Methodist Church. Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Pickwick Methodist Church in Pickwick Dam, with Dick Haley officiating. Burial was in the White Sulphur Cemetery at Pickwick Dam. In addition to her husband, George, she is survived by a daughter, Sherry Lipford of Counce; three sons, Bobby of Counce, Tommy of Katy, Texas and Jimmy Barlow of San Antonio, Texas; three sisters, Shirley Grant of Flovilla, Ga., Betty O'Quinn of Chattanooga; and Evelyn Alloy of Boulder City, Nev.; a brother, Don Kinsey of Bonner Springs, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Wiley William "Junior" Wilson; and a sister, Margie Louise Byrd.
