Pauline Weatherington

Pauline Weatherington, 83, of Savannah, died Sunday, Jan. 18, in her home in the Holland’s Creek community. She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late Marvin and Lillie Austin. She was a member of Holland’s Creek Methodist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Jeannie Campbell and husband Bob of Smyrna, Tenn.; two sons, Randy Weatherington and wife Sandra of Savannah, and Jimmy Weatherington and wife Peggy of Franklin, Tenn.; one sister, Louise Eaves of Waterloo, Ala.; two grandsons, Danny Campbell and Alex Campbell both of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one great-granddaughter, Myka of Murfreesboro, Tenn. In addition to her parents, Ms. Weatherington was preceded in death by three sisters, Hilda Tune of Waterloo, Ala., Dorothy Austin of Savannah, and Oneida Keller of San Francisco, Calif.; five brothers, Eldridge (Shorty) Austin, Earlin Austin, and Earby Austin all of Savannah, Ralph (Wop) Austin of Dallas, Texas, and Robert (Bob) Austin of Nashville, Tenn. Services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 11a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Don Harold Lawrence officiating. Burial was in the Holland’s Creek Cemetery at Hardin County. Memorial donations can be made to Holland's Creek United Methodist Church, 2570 Hollands Creek Rd., Savannah, Tenn. 38372.
