Lucille Shelby

Lucille M. Shelby, 90, Tucson, Ariz., former resident of Hardin County, died Thursday, Jan. 29, at St Joseph Hospital in Tucson, Ariz. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Cecil and Dicie Williams. Ms. Shelby was a homemaker and member of Blount’s Methodist Church and Graham United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Home Demonstration Club and RSVP Member Senior Citizens. Services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, with Jim Wright officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Shelby of Tucson, Ariz.; several nieces, nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Edith Shelby; three brothers, Russell, Fred, and Howard Williams.
