Louise Rainey

Louise Rainey, 82, of Savannah, died Monday, Jan. 19. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Chester and Dolly Haynes Linville. She was united in marriage to Marion Lee Rainey, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the River Heights Pentecostal Church. She assisted in the care of her son through a lengthy illness. Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 24, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jerry Gibbs officiating. Burial was in the Neill Cemetery at Savannah, She is survived by a half-sister, Marie Linville of Missouri; a half-brother, Billy Linville of Missouri; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Lee Rainey; a sister, Allie Hopper; two brothers, Hugh and Pate Linville.
