Kelly Biggers

Kelly D. Biggers, 66, of Hardin County, died Monday, Jan. 19. He was born in Florence, Ala., the son of the late Walker and Edith Loren Pounders Biggers. Mr. Biggers served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 until 1967. He worked as an electrician for TVA. A graveside service was held on Friday, Jan. 23, at the Florence City Cemetery in Florence, Ala. with Jimmy Hayes officiating. He is survived by a son, Kelly Douglas Biggers Jr. of Savannah; two daughters, Angela M. Hobby of Savannah and Michelle Darlene Pace of Florence, Ala.; a brother, Larry Joe Biggers of Decatur, Ala.; a sister, Carolyn Flower of Killen, Ala.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Loren Prestage; brothers, Bobby Biggers and Donald Biggers.
